OUR STORY

Throne of Grace (Miracle Centre), Windsor is one of the 6000 parishes of the RCCG under the leadership of pastor Enoch A. Adeboye.

The Throne of Grace started as a home fellowship (Bible Study Group) in 1999 by Pastor Bowo and Moji Olateru-Olagbegi in Windsor Ontario, in accordance with a divine mandate.

In the year 2000, the group moved to McKenzie hall on the west side of Windsor and started Sunday service as “Throne of Grace” parish of RCCG. In June 2001, Pastor E. A. Adeboye visited the group and formally dedicated the parish in a glorious dedication service.

In January 2004, the church purchased her own building, 1767 Northway Avenue, after moving, Pastor E. A Adeboye and wife visited this new location and declared it a “Miracle Center”
In our current location, God has increased us beyond our own expectation as we have grown in heaps and bounds. TOG Windsor has evolved from an only parish in Windsor to a Mother and also a supporter of the expansion of the body of Christ in Canada and indeed North America.

In 2016 December, the church moved to their permanent site in the heart of the city of Windsor. 405 Victoria Avenue formerly St. Andrew Presybetrian church.

Under the current leadership of Pastor Grace Ugbeye, TOG has experienced outstanding growth, and great move of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Grace has the unique gift of teaching the word of God with great clarity, boldness and passion. She declares like St. Paul “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”. She has been able by the Holy Spirit to encourage and empower people of different background and nationals in service with their divine potentials.

Our Roots

Established in 1999, Throne of Grace is one of the parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RCCG was founded in 1952 and has grown to become one of the fastest-growing churches in the world, with over 32,000 parishes in over 180 countries. The General Overseer (Presiding Bishop) of RCCG is Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye.

Presently, there are established missions in many African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia. RCCG has also been involved in establishing schools, rehabilitation centers, child care and support centers.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the Divine inspiration of the Bible as the infallible Word of God.

We believe in the Divine Trinity consisting of three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, teachings, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and coming return to this earth in power and glory to rule.

We believe that man was created in the image of God before whom he walked in innocence, holiness and purity, but by voluntary disobedience and transgression, he fell to the depths of sin. Therefore, the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the finished work at Calvary.

We believe that Perfection is a spiritual growth for those who have been sanctified and consecrated unto God.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost for all believers who are living sanctified lives and that is evident by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

We believe that divine healing of sickness for all believers is provided through the atonement.

We believe in the second coming of Jesus and the rapture of the church.

We believe that tribulation will occur between Christ’s second coming for his bride and His return in Judgement.

We believe in the 1000-year reign of Jesus Christ on earth.

We believe in the great white throne judgment as the final judgment when all the wicked will stand before God.

We believe that a new heaven and new earth will replace the current heaven and earth.

We believe in the eternal heaven and eternal hell as literal places of final destiny.

We believe in water baptism by immersion as Jesus commanded.

We believe in restitution, where stolen goods are returned to their rightful owners.

We believe in the Lord’s supper, and practiced remembering His death until he returns.
